As the decision to purchase any instrument is an important one, we at Microsep want you to feel secure and comfortable with your decision to buy our products. We therefore offer a variety of programmes and support options to provide you that security.

Microsep's Service Division, with technical consultants strategically located in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth, provides the following services:

• On-site and in-house service and repair of Millipore, Waters and Mettler Toledo instrumenation.

• Preventative maintenance plans such as service agreements to ensure reliability and improve cost of ownership.

• Database of all installed Microsep instrumentation.

• Calibration of weighing instrumentation including "on-site service and mass calibration of semi-micro balances and scales, traceable to national standards (ISO/IEC 17025, SANAS)".

• A full compliment of calibration tools and instruments are kept at Microsep's offices.  They are meticulously calibrated at regular, prescribed intervals.

Ongoing internal training, specialised equipment and original spare parts, allow us to respond to your needs with speed and expertise. Our work is guaranteed and parts are warranteed, as per the manufacturer's specifications.

Microsep offers the following for Millipore Instrumentation:

• Service agreements for laboratory water systems offering flexibilty to meet individual customer requirements.

• Electronic generation of service reports on-site for customers to sign.

• New database to provide traceability of installation of water systems and work performed.

• Back-up laboratory water systems are available to assist customers with water should their system be non-operational for any length of time.

• Visit our demonstration laboratory to see the latest Millipore laboratory water systems.

Microsep offers the following for Waters® Instrumentation:

• Repair and service of the full range of Waters HPLC and UPLC systems and Micromass Mass Spectrometry instrumentation.

• Validation of Waters chromatographic instrumentation.

• Preventative maintenance service for Waters HPLC and UPLC systems.

• Waters Engineers have internationally recognized certification to perform Qualification on all Waters instrumentation.

Microsep offers the following for Mettler Toledo Instrumentation:

• Calibration of balances/platforms, giving confidence in the reliability of measurements taken.

• We provide you with a choice of calibration service as follows:

• Calibration of your balance/ platform to manufacturer's specification including checks on repeatability, linearity and eccentricity, or  

• SANAS accredited calibration including the calculation of the balance/ platform's uncertainty of measurement.

• Calibration is carried out with test weights/ masspieces traceable to the National Standard. Masspieces used by our Technicians during calibration are recalibrated at regular intervals.

• Availability of Mettler Toledo service printer for programming and checking of Mettler Toledo balances. 

• Latest computer based software (LARS) for calibration and programming of Mettler Toledo balances.  

• A 10% discount on all spares for Mettler Toledo balances covered by the service agreement.
